WHAT IS LOVE?

People are always talking about it and there are a million of songs written about it? But what is it? I agree with the famous lyrics of The Beatles, "all you need is love", and I think I have a pretty good idea of what LOVE is for me. But what is LOVE to you?

For me LOVE is as abstract of a notion as the divine, GOD. How do we know LOVE or GOD exists? Is it just a feeling we feel sometimes or can we achieve the feeling of LOVE all the time?
Are LOVE and GOD possibly the same thing?
Being in LOVE is like believing in GOD? To believe in GOD and to be in LOVE with someone or something, one must have complete trust and confidence in that someone or something.

but what is LOVE and/or GOD?


According to the dictionary, love is an intense feeling of deep affection. Let's chew on this for a minute, "an intense feeling of deep affection".

hhhmmm, now let's break it up, "an intense feeling". An intense feeling for? and is it just a feeling or is it more?

Let's look at the entire definition once more, "an intense feeling of deep affection". What is "affection"?

Affection is defined as a gentle feeling of fondness or liking. There's that word again, feeling. -Which is defined as an emotional state or reaction...emotional state of reaction,...reaction, reaction.

A reaction to what?


hhhmmmm...

do we all have LOVE?
do we all want LOVE?
do we all need LOVE?
do we all share LOVE?

I want to know what LOVE means to everyone.
